Teaching4Jesus Ministries (T4J) has a vision of Empowering Christians for service that builds up the body of Christ. To accomplish this, our mission focuses daily on challenging, inspiring and equipping Christians to impact the growth of the body of Christ in love according to each individual’s ability.
Within T4J Ministries, there are two divisions that provide the training that makes the mission a reality. They are:
The Jesus Institute
The Jesus Institute dedicates itself to focusing on Jesus by offering two different but related training opportunities.
The Relevancy Series is a study that answers important questions about the Bible, Jesus, and the church. The training is driven by three questions:
Can the Bible be trusted?
An investigation of how the Bible came into existence and a comparison of English Translations
Is Jesus the only way to God?
Exploration of the uniqueness of Jesus Christ
Do we need the church?
Consideration of the place and value of church today
A deeper investigation of the person and nature of Jesus is offered in the Focus on Jesus Experience. This study will awaken the Christian to the Lordship of Jesus through a detailed look at descriptions of Jesus in the New Testament answering the question:
“What should that mean to me as a Christian”
This training will ...
Prepare the Christian for Serve Like Jesus training
Experience Jesus, prompting a deeper level of service, which causes the building up of the body of Christ. (Ephesians 4:12-16)
Awaken the Christian to the Lordship of Jesus, asking them to serve like He did
Equipping Ministry Training
T4J is driven by the motto of Every Christian a Theologian! What does this mean? Look at it this way:
Theos is the Greek word for God
logos is the Greek word for talk; we get our word logic from it
Thus, to be a Theologian means that you talk logically about God.
This sounds like a trained professional who has gone to college or seminary, doesn't it. Yes, they are trained to talk logically about God. However, the Bible was written to the churches and every member was expected to know what was given to them through the words of Scripture.
Equipping Ministry Training is a Certificate Program offering six (6) classes that give the student the biblical and theological foundation needed to talk logically about God and His Son, Jesus. The foundation classes are:
Context and Theology of the Old Testament
Context and Theology of the New Testament
For those gifted to teach and preach or those who desire this ministry we offer:
Exposition and Exegesis: Keys to Effective Preaching and Teaching
Working with Compass Leadership, we will guide your church family through the training needed to become Servant Leaders like Jesus who lead by serving. First, the emphasis of Servant Leadership directs the believer to the duplicate that of Jesus who took the form of a servant, humbling Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death on a cross.
